    Weak WiFi?

    Router is nice and setup was straightforward. Using Netgear Genie really simplified installation. I have a Samsung Smart TV and streaming from Netflix, Hulu and You Tube is seamless. My only concern is the amount of time it takes for a print job to be performed on a printer in an adjacent room. With my old router, the print job was almost instant, now I have up to a 30 second delay before the print job starts. I hooked up old router and print jobs were again almost instant. I have done some researching, but so far nothing has helped. Other than this issue, I highly recommend this router.

    Quality router at a value price

    I replaced a single band router with this dual band model. I have bought Netgear products before, so I was not worried about quality. I use the slower band for the printer, and all other devices including ipads, iphones, and Macs all use the 5G band with no apparent impedence. Glad I upgraded, and expect this router to last as long as the previous router.

    Certified? By who?

    Need to replace a defective router and got this. Must have served it's first life in the rust Belt. All four ports are covered in corrosion. I'll clean them up and give it a try. After cleaning all of the corrosion out of the Ethernet ports, the router tests out OK, but I wonder what the unit looks like inside. It seems to me that 'Certified Refurbished' is only the name of the supplier.
