      Not as strong as older models

      Having sold Hoover since the 50's I had used the Porta Power for many years. I am impressed with the quality of the product and like the longer power cord along with the tool kit included. We used to be able to put the product against a flat surface and it would not move and was hard to pull away. You could also pick up a eight pound bowling ball. I don't have a bowling ball but do have a flat surface and the sweeper slides down the surface thus my not thinking it does not seem to have the suction power. I am impressed with the quality, the fit and finish and improvements ie the bag, the tool kit and longer cord. I would recommend the sweeper to a friend. My wife has replaced 3 sweeper with this one.

      Product stinks literally!

      I bought this to replace my same previous unit that lasted for nearly 30 years. The new model has better suction BUT it gives off a strong odor of burning ABS plastic once it warms up. The various attachments do not fit snugly, and the longer (nice!) length cord is stiff like an inexpensive commercial extension cord. Hoover could do a lot better than this!

      OH MY

      I am in the professional cleaning business and I learned how to clean houses using this vacuum 20 years ago and I came across it just recently and decided to get one and this vacuum never seizes amazing I love it as powerful as professional looking & it works great. It blows away the oreck I've been using for the last 15 years .

      Great little machine.

      Arrived in brand new condition, easy to assemble, very strong suction, changing the tools is a piece of cake, the machine is small to carry around the house on shoulder, only down side is that the shoulder strap hurts the shoulder after wearing a while, I placed a thick towel underneath to solve that problem. The long metal tubes are heavy after use while, I switched to my universal plastic made tube which is lighter. I love the fact I can clean all the small corners/spots easily, I can do multiple jobs with this beauty. Much better then the upright vacuum, clean underneath the bed and sofa is also in ease. Dust bag is easily to take out and it’s washable, I bought the replacement bags so I switch it once a while. Another plus is the cord is very long. I recommend for people who has a ...
