Synopsis
A number of books and research papers have been published on trauma and biomechanics.Theyhavesofarnotbeenrealisticallyintegrated.Thebasicaim ofthisbookistopresentauni'edapproachbetweentheengineeringandm- ical professions. The available engineering analyses and mathematical models can be interlinked and glued together with the medical ?ndings by means of surgeries and X-rays/scans. They can be translated into vastly developed computer programs predicting e'ects of plasticity, temperature, cracking, and crushing with and without muscles and other interlocking phenomenon. The available mathematical-cum-engineering model on trauma and bone mechanics are then linked to the ?nite element analysis and to a computer programinwhichprovisionsaremadetocaterforallpossibleeventualitiesand medicalparameters.Theproblemencounteredbysurgeriescanbeeasilybe- corporated into hybrid ?nite element computer programs such as PROGRAM ISOPARusedinthisbook.Inallcasestudiesthesurgicalin'uenceshavebeen considered together with the bone material data for both the operational, nonoperational and overloading behaviour of the human body structure. In all circumstances the human body structure and its important elements were treated as composite. Great condition. Wrapped for shipping really well. Shipping time was very disappointing. I purchased this item on 5/9, label was created by seller on 5/10, but was not dropped of to USPS until 5/21. I tracked almost every day and even contacted seller who told me it had been dropped off but USPS doesn't always scan stuff....? Tracked, it was accepted 5/21 and I received 5/27. So, I believe seller did not drop off until 12 days after I purchased this item. Great item, but disappointed in seller.

An entirely satisfactory transaction. The item was precisely as described, promptly dispatched, and securely packaged. I should not hesitate to deal with them again.

I ordered my item on April 26 with the latest expected delivery of May 6th. I got a “shipping label created” message. Day after day the information was stuck at “awaiting item”. Reached out to the seller who said they dropped it off at the post office already and that “the post office does track media packages”. Lo and behold, May 7th, a day after it was supposed to arrive, the post office receives item and tracking begins. I would steer clear from this seller. It seems they do this often..
