        Great Sci-Fi Storyline ! ! !

Very engaging story line... Love seeing Deborah Harry ("Blondie") in a superb science fiction/ sexy role, as she proves that she is a very good actress as well as singer... A total entertainment package... Even if you are not an avid sci-fi fanatic you will still enjoy this movie... I highly recommend it... BUT... Definitely Adults Only ! ! ! ! ! ! L8r, boydow

        Videodrome

To start with this movie was weird. Usually I like weird but I didn't like this movie. I believe it was billed as a horror movie but there was very little horror just weirdness. James Woods is usually a very good actor but in this case not so much. I believe this was the first movie for Deborah Harry. She was okay but she didn't have much of a role. The movie is about an underground TV station that has nothing but torture and murder. And watching the Channel and the video tapes that were made by the station warps Minds and creates hallucinations. There are two groups one being videodrome and another group trying to do away with videodrome. James Woods character get sucked in by both sides and has no idea what's really going on. And his hallucinations get really very weird. I really don't ...

      • Videodrome DVD

Well, its a different movie, thats all I can say about that, I had never watched it before, glad to have it in my old movie collection, it has a twist at the end, and it didn't click that Blonde was in it, I will say its worth a watch

      • You will not look at your TV set the same again

Videodrome is a cult favorite for good reason. Subliminal messaging on tv commercials had already become the subject of paranoia by 1983. Acting, directing, and editing and pacing add up to an amazing production, as it was produced literally on the fly. I am puzzling that Videodrome is not a familiar offering on cable tv. They Live was John Carpenter’s follow up in 1988.
