It was not sealed, and one of the smaller pieces appears to have broken before it was shipped to me (I'm not sure how it could have broken during shipping, as it was shipping in its original, tight, Styrofoam packaging). That said, I did pay significantly less for it than anyone else on eBay was asking, and a little superglue fixed it, so I won't complain.
