    Excellent buy

    I bake bread often. I don't buy bread anymore and because of that I wanted something that I could slice the bread more uniform. Slicing thick wasn't a problem but slicing more like store bought sandwich bread was. I saw how much this bread slicer cost brand new and did not want to spend that much. I did not want a wood one. So when I found this at a decent price I bought it. It is numbered so you know you have your knife on the same number on both sides. I used it today on a loaf I baked. You can slice thick or thin. I love it. Very easy to clean.

    Makes an attractive presentation

    With this slicing guide you can cut an entire loaf or just a few slices. It makes attractive, standardized slices of homemade or bakery bread, very handy when making sandwiches. It folds to a compact size making it easy to store in a convenient place, a handy feature as I find slicing the bread as needed rather than slicing the entire loaf keeps the bread fresher longer.

    I really like this bread slicer. It’s compact, easy to use, very sturdy, has a good weight and seems like it’s very well made. Only thing is you are not supposed to really get it wet so cleaning it is wiping or brushing it off. Not a big deal to me. I get good slices & no wood particles using this.

    Heavy duty and high quality

    This slicing guide works well with my electric bread knife. It is very high quality and heavy duty. The only thing that it needs is a stop at one end for the loaf to rest against, but it is easy to put a thin sheet of plastic or other material in the slot.
