    A good investment.

    I have had a steady stream of immersion blenders over many years. After my last beloved blender died, I bought another one which was a dud. After just a few weeks, I started shopping again. I have only used the All-Clad a couple of times but I can tell that it is a solid piece of equipment. It is easy to attach/detach, adjust the speeds, turn on, and clean. The shaft is a good length and it has ample power behind it. This one has a cord (which is my preference) but other are cordless.

    Quality blender with surplus power

    ALL-CLAD quality ,unbelievable power. The torque turning this blender on is noticeable but easily controlled with the adjustable power control and surplus power available to get through any conceivable job. The wife loves this blender. Also easy on and off to clean wand.

    Great for soap making

    Purchased this to mix cold process soap. It works great and can be run through heavy oils and thick full trace. Ran the mixer in hot water to clean the blade. The rest wipes down easily. You can disconnect the mixer from the motor pretty easily for cleaning but there is really no reason to. The product feels heavy duty, unlike some of the stick mixers I looked at at Walmart and Target. There were no quality issues at all when I received the unit. It runs very smooth and is very very quiet which is good for the paper thin walls of my apartment.

    Powerful immersion blender

    The stick blender is sturdy, well made and powerful. It may be larger and heavier than cheaper immersion blenders. What keeps us from giving it five stars is the fact that the base, where all the action is, is just slightly too large to fit inside quart canning jars, or inside most quart jars. This prevents us from blending salad dressings or making mayonnaise inside the jar and then storing the product there.

    Plenty of Power and Well Built

    I chose this model because it was rated tops by a product rating company. Definitely higher in price than the average but if your looking for a good stick blender then you should be satisfied with this. I haven't used this to its full capacity yet but on average jobs to test it out on I have been very satisfied.
