    It works and does what it's supposed to.

    Not as smooth as I would like. Also has some features not covered in the manual. Like turning itself off when not in use. Has to be woke up with a left click.

    Trackball is comfortable and fits palm. Design is ok but the ball does track well. Not very concise. Hard to position on target.

    Good replacement for aging Logitech trackball

    Very comfortable to use, and - most importanly - pressing the left or right buttons only results in one click! I've been using an old Logitech trackball, and when the switches under the buttons get old, they get kinda flaky. I'm hoping this one will keep working properly for a while.

    Expect several good years service from the 717

    When I bought the Jelly Comb MT50 2-3 years ago, it was considered an "underdog", but has turned out to be fantastic. After a backup unit failed, bought the 717 wireless, and have good expectations. Too bad it's not re-chargeable, but even this could work in its favor in the long run. Feels good, and a bit less break-in work needed.

    If you have large hands beware.

    This track ball works....but it's not comfortable in my hand. I have large hands and this Perixx doesn't fit as well as the Logitec it replaced. At first the roller took more force to control then the Logitec, but that has eased up in just a couple days use.
