Well, I am pleased on some levels, but not on others… the techniques used to repair teeth seem quite good and I am anxious to try on my wood mov’t(s), however I was completely shocked to see you remove ALL the brass bushings! Many of those bushings appear to be factory original and removing them is blasphemy , in my humble option, you devalued the movement significantly… also, it appears you used soft wood doweling to make those replacement bushings (maybe I missed the description of the dowel )

Manufacturers never installed sheet bushings, repair shops did, thinking to make the movement last longer. But the oil now needed would leech into the wood causing a dry pivot, this stopped the movement also. Plus whale oil rots the wood and smells atrocious.
