Review for Hayley Westenra's Odyssey
I am not much of a risk taker when it comes to buying music. Normally I'm very sure about the artist before I make a purchase. However, with Odyssey I listened to this a little bit online before I decided to buy the CD. Overall, I am pleased with my decision. Ms. Westenra has a very nice voice and I suppose my attraction was for this cause. She is very young and she comes across as very young in her music. Sometimes younger artists perform and their experience level sounds beyond their years. That's not the case for Ms. Westenra. She wants to be operetic at some level and yet pop at another level. Her development doesn't measure up to others in opera and her pop lacks edge or a niche. The talent is certainly there, I just think she needs to identify what she's trying to ... In conclusion, I like this CD but it doesn't affect my soul the way I had hoped.

Odyssey, a great album by a finely tuned singer.
Hayley Westenra is a very, very fine talented singer who has perfect pitch and her voice is a fine instrument. Hayley is a fine classical singer whose voice, I believe is better than Charlotte Church. Hayley can sing anything and it is enjoyable. This is the second Westenra CD that I have bought, the first one being the album "Pure", also very excellent.

Hayley Westenra's Odyssey
Hayley Westenra has the most beautiful voice of any female artist I have come across in a long time. Her rendition of Shenendoah moved me to tears. She stands in a class of her own. Few artists have achieved the success she has at the young age of nineteen. I highly recommend the "ODYSSEY" Album to those who appreciate the art of music. Arnie Davis

This CD Is The Best!
This CD "Odyssey - Hayley Westenra" Is The Best In The World Since Charlotte Church. It Had 12 Wonderful Songs. It Hayley Westenra is my 2nd. best since Charlotte Church. Great Job Hayley!

This was a great album. If you liked PURE, then you will love ODYSSEY. It was everything that one would expect from Hayley Westenra.
