    REVISITING THE FANTASTIC

    I'M A STICKLER FOR THE ORIGINAL. REMIX'S AND UPDATES JUST AREN'T MY THING. WHEN SOMETHING IS DONE PERFECT THE FIRST TIME, WELL, YOU KNOW. STILL, EVERY NOW & THEN ONE COMES ALONG THAT JUST CAN'T BE DENYED. PHAEDRA WAS BY FAR MY FAVORITE TG LP. (ALWAYS HAS BEEN) SO I WAS A LITTLE LEARY ABOUT THIS. WOW, NO NEED TO FRET. THE MUSIC IS STILL JUST AS COOL, IT'S DEFINATELY REMASTERED (BRIGHTER & CLEARER), AND THERE'S A FEW IMBELISHMENTS, BUT NOTHING TO CRY ABOUT. I TOTALLY ENJOYED THIS REVISIT TO CLASSIC DAYS OF YORE. I DIDN'T THINH THEY COULD POSSIBLY IMPROVE ON THE COVER ART BUT, WRONG AGAIN. AWESOME COVER.

    An upgrade for a new millenium

    It was good. Even mediocre Tangerine Dream is better than the average recording nowadays. This is not as good as the original, but the sound quality is enhanced. New sounds are added to old ones.Appraently E. Froese likes to upgrade his recordings with sounds that were unavailable at the time they were originally recorded. As previously mentioned by another reviewer, the cover is nice. Very cosmic.
