  • Bluegrass meets Diamond Dave

Overall it's a very, very good disc. Some of the bands do straight up covers, not straying too far from the original, while others twisted the songs to sound more like a bluegrass band (I liked those covers much better). Jump and Jamie's Cryin' are the only two tracks that feature Diamond Dave himself on vocals, but don't let that stop you from checking out this disc. There's even a banjo version of Eruption - very entertaining! I too saw Dave on Craig Furgeson (Late Night) and I was kind of blown away.

  • The way Jump should of been done at the inception

discovered this album via youtube and fully fell in live with D.L.R. all over again. His vocals have improved and grown with age. You so couldn't hear his range nor appriciate his vocals with the entire Van Halen band(although they are spestacular) behind him. Its a very special album but only if you truely love music, Its a passion he obviously had to share with us and this album is magnificent

  • DLR at his best.
