I purchased this after I saw the flavor description of 'herbal and earthy'. I expected a fuller taste being Sumatra Mandheling beans. However, I was surprised with the very smooth and medium taste. One of few I have found that work well with bolder regular expresso beans when making espresso or coffee. When using this regular/decaf blend ground for coffee in reusable K cups I find I like 6 ounces of coffee while my wife prefers 8 ounces.
