About this product

Product Information

The very first book by number one bestseller Lee Child, which introduces his iconic hero Jack Reacher. This was the first Jack Reacher novel and with its lean, spare prose it has one of the most intriguing heroes of our times and displays a gift for explosive drama. (Daily Express) Jack Reacher jumps off a bus and walks fourteen miles down a country road into Margrave, Georgia. An arbitrary decision he's about to regret. Reacher is the only stranger in town on the day they have had their first homicide in thirty years. The cops arrest Reacher and the police chief turns eyewitness to place him at the scene. As nasty secrets leak out, and the body count mounts, one thing is for sure. They picked the wrong guy to take the fall. _________ Although the Jack Reacher novels can be read in any order, Killing Floor is the first book in the internationally popular series. It presents Reacher for the first time, as the tough ex-military cop of no fixed abode- a righter of wrongs, the perfect action hero. And be sure not to miss Reacher's newest adventure, no.26, Better off Dead! ***COMING SOON and AVAILABLE FOR PRE-ORDER NOW***

Very fairly priced. Speedy delivery in 3 days. Strong PVC packaging was used but unfortunately there was a hole in the bag and damage to the book cover as a result (minor) which may have been averted by a layer of bubble wrap or cardboard packaging on this heavy hardback book with sharp corners. This is feedback not a complaint as I appreciate using more robust packaging could result in higher prices. Would appreciate if this seller left feedback on me as a buyer please!

Quick delivery and carefully packaged. Book condition was as described and a nice little surprise of it being a hard back. Yet again I would advice for you to remove previous price stickers as it is disheartening to the buyer.

Item arrived on time but will you tell seller to pack in something better than plastic bags as damade has occured as shown in transit. Royal Mail tend to not take enough care and chuck other stuff on top which causes dents etc

  • A gripping read.

Having read, and really enjoyed, many of the later Jack Reacher stories, I bought this to see if the first one was as good. I wasn't disappointed - a great read and difficult to put down once started.
