    The perfect solution to convert standard definition video to SDI

    I was very pleased with the purchase of the AJA video converter. It is an easy and convenient solution to feed a SDI device from a composite CVBS source. The AJA converter has a composite and component input, via standard BNC plugs and can output up to four lines of serial digital video. I needed the AJA because I own a waveform monitor that does not accept standard definition NTSC signals. The micro control switches are difficult to see and access The AJA will even produce its own bar test signal as well as adjusting several video quality parameters. The only drawbacks are that the AJA converter boxes a difficult to mount in a studio because they aren't manufactured in a rack-mount style. It's a good and useful product. I wish for a rack-mount version.
