Because of age and maybe temperature of storing at some point it kind of melted a little on the grip so it’s got this sticky coat that needs a ton of cleaning. I haven’t used it yet because it’s so uncomfortably sticky. Not the sellers fault as it was new in the box.

Pros: The unique sliding D-Pad has clicky tactical response in all eight directions. The six face buttons are also clicky mechanical switches and not silicone like standard controllers. Cons: The back side of the controller has a rubber grip coating that is likely to have degraded to a sticky residue, but comes off clean with isopropyl alchohol. There are no analog sticks and no buttons for L3 and R3.

Bargain price for cheap controller
This controller is one helluva cheap controller. It features 6 micro switches for its face buttons, making inputs auditory and somewhat easier to perform. In addition, the thumbstick features a similar feature, clicking once you've inputted one of eight directions. The shoulder buttons don't have this feature, instead offering a dull, plastic sounding tick that indicates you've performed your input. The PS3 home button presses in just like the default Sony Sixaxis controller, and the start and select buttons are similar in feel. These three buttons do not feature a prominent auditory tick sound. The casing itself is ridiculously light, probably due to the lack of a rumble feature and a battery. The face of the controller is made of a smooth, somewhat slippery plastic, with the end of the ... The underside is made solely of a matte-finish plastic that gives more grip for your fingers. Compared to other controllers, this doesn't really outperform or have any advantages that the other controllers have. But, most other controllers don't even scratch the price-point of $10, at least if you're looking for something designed with fighting games in mind. Also, because this is a controller made for the PS3, it isn't really compatible with newer generation consoles. I would probably recommend this for PC players if you want to play recent fighting game titles. Besides this, this controller is honestly a solid steal for $10. TL;DR Bargain price for a cheap controller, clicky buttons and thumbstick, recommended for PC it playing newer titles, bigger hands may need to look elsewhere.

Nice Sticky Controller
The buttons on the controller work well. The Dpad is amazingly accurate. I used it mainly to play complicated platformers like Super Meat Boy. It does extremely well for those and outperforms most of my other controllers in this specific genre of game. It is however very sticky on the back. It feels like the underside of a bandaid on the sticky part, but a bit more gooey. I took mine apart and soaked the back plate in paint thinner overnight. Then I cleaned it in some dawn soap and used some light sandpaper and scotch bright pads on it. I then washed it again in soap and let it dry completely. Then I purchased some paint that is both primer and paint that adheres to plastic. It looks and feels fantastic now! It’s probably worth the price, but requires some additional work to be ... I'm sure the controller is fine, functionally, as a controller. But it's sticky. A gross stickiness all over the back, as if it were soaked in soda pop. My best guess is the rubbery coating that was applied to the back and grips on the controller is starting to degrade, but I don't know as my experience with mysteriously sticky controllers is somewhat limited. It's sticky in a way in which I don't want to touch it. So I cannot recommend a purchase of this item, and would go so far to say do not purchase one.I'm sure the controller is fine, functionally, as a controller. But it's sticky. Great Halfway Mark Between Controller and Fight Stick
Amazing controller for 2D fighting games. Very accurate input and the buttons make a very satisfying click when you press them. Only con is a relatively short USB cable, but easily solved with USB extension cables.
