Edgar Allen Poe's The Fall of the House of Usher has fascinated poets and composers for over a century. This premiere recording of Philip Glass's 1988 opera based on the infamous work performed by Wolf Trap Opera and Inscape Chamber Orchestra under conductor Joseph LI features a stellar cast including Jonas Hacker as Roderick Usher, Ben Edquist as William, Matthew Adam Fleisher as the Servant, Nicholas Nestorak as the Physician, and Madison Leonard as Madeline Usher. The package includes two booklets housing a full libretto and photos of the 2017 production.
