I’m surprised these are not more prevalent, but suppose they are a pretty niche product. It’s a godsend for me. I have a couple old multi bay enclosures that support esata or usb2. Usb2 is far too slow for the amount of data I’m backing up and tried 3 different pcie cards that supposedly were port multiplier capable. These all resulted in driver issues and BSOD. With this device I now get usb3 speeds and port multiplier which has solved my issues.
