I used this to force a mildly dark patina on a copper scale and copper hardware for my Hinderer Eklipse. It came out amazing!! I wanted the well used look but didn’t want to wait the several months for it to occur naturally. I got water almost boiling, added this sulfur until it was a nice yellowish color and soaked the scale and hardware in it until it got the darkness I wanted. I soaked it in baking soda water to stop the reaction and brushed the high areas with a scotchbrite pad.
