I would recommend this product. easy to install. I have a 1951 Rockwell with tubular construction. I drilled the two holes with a #7 drill bit and tapped the threads with a 1/4 20 coarse tap. did not take long at all.

No complaints about Taylor Toolworks. Transaction/shipping/condition was fine. Unfortunately the new longer threaded bolt bolt that came with it had damaged threads. I had to go out and buy a new metric bolt and fashion a handle for it.

    Expectations Not Met

The metal was machined poorly and directly affects your lift & release motion of travel by catching. Installation on 14 in JWBS-CS14 very easy! the 2 bolts are too short not making past nut when combined with flat & lock washer. Mechanical failure when too much tension is applied! This rack and pinion gear system when fully raised may cause metal parts to over lap which causes a loud SNAP when lowering arm! Thinking of making YouTube video of the mechanical failure of rack gear overlapping platform when in full tension position

  • Great product

I used this as I was setting up the saw after installation. I had the blade on and tensioned correctly. I went to put the table on and realized it would be so much easier if the blade were removed from the saw first. I was lamenting having to retension the blade (like I would normally have to do) but realized that I could just use the quick release and be done in and back tension in no time and without adjusting the tension knob. That is just what I did and it worked beautifully!

  • Wanted one for my saw.

Product is a good product for it's intended design. Priced higher than one would expect. Shipping was quite slow and tracking was terrible.
