Heartland - a show for everyone in the family
I think I have probably watched the first 7 seasons at least 6 times and each season just keeps getting better and better. I started watching from the beginning again the other night and was surprised to see that Jack's hair was brown in the beginning and Caleb looked so much like a kid. Ty and Amy haven't really changed all that much. Absolutely love this series. My only complaints are not with the series as it is with the quality. In season 8, which was purchased just a week before season 9 and shipped from the same person (Tim Barnett). In season 8, Disc 2 gets stuck and blurred lines come across the film...the same with season 9 only it was on Disc 3. I did try contracting Mr Barnett after watching season 8, but have had no word from him as of this time. Would appreciate a ... Excellent Family Saga for all ages
After watching the first few episodes in Season One I was totally in love with the Fleming Family. Each episode portrays a down to earth situation, happy and/or sad, for this family. Stories are well written, characters are real and portrayed by excellent actors and actresses. With the Rocky Mountains in the background, the scenery is gorgeous. If you love horses, they are beautiful as well. All nine seasons are fantastic and I am hoping for many more to come. another great season of Heartland
I have watched and purchased all seasons and am waiting for season 10 to be sold in USA. This is some of the best TV I've had the pleasure of watching. The actors ,"all of them", ;have given a presence of being believable throughout the years. Its great to see a program that you can sit down with the whole family and enjoy together. I particularly like the fact that this series doesn't have to rely on profanity or nudity to get across a love story in any sence. Good acting by the main characters is one of the reasons that its believable. Everyone who loves horses and animals will agree that its something they have always wanted in their lives. The scenery is off the charts as that area in the Canadian rockies is somewhere all would like to have been raised. Of coarse not all ... This series continues to be a pure source of joy! My late father & I found it through an Internet search just before his death 25 months ago. It took just viewing the first three episodes of the series to order the next two seasons! After his death it took me a while to het back into the show. Now I find time every weekend to watch at least one episode. As I write this, I am halfway through season 8 . The show has evolved over the years with some characters leaving & new ones (especially Alisha Newton as "Georgie") joining the core cast. Three things are constant-the cast, the solid writing & the breath-taking cinematography featuring the Canadian Rockies (which prove to be as much of a character as the humans are in this show}. The characters are all excellent and play their parts well. The movies are clean with no sexual content and a minimum of questionable language. My wife, daughter and I have thoroughly enjoyed them. Kudos to the actors, directors and author of the book from which from which the movies were made.
