    Incredible value, solid, needs sharpened NIB

    The GREAT! High value for dollar. I totally love this knife! The GOOD! Solid, comfortable, extreme strength pocket clip (maybe too strong..). The (in my case) 8CR14MOV steel holds an edge well, especially for carving softwoods, but functionally so in cardboard. I thinned the blade all the way before edge testing. Swings open beautifully with the provided thumb studs, or centrifugal force. 2 handed opening works too. Heavy duty pivot. The bad. Blade tip rests directly on the Griv-Ex by design. This can dull the tip of your edge after swinging closed a few times. Easily avoided by closing gently. Also, the blade arrived rather dull. No Big deal, I sharpen. The ugly. Looking at the knife spine right over the pivot, there is a perceptible tiny gap on the left side. This is ...

    This is the most durable folding knife I have ever owned. A little big for EDC but almost a fixed blade when opened. The locking mechanism is the best yet. Plus it's the traditional lock back which I love. The only thing... Buy the one with the better blade steel. The cheaper model won't stay sharp.
