Never even got in contact after paying £14.50 for a diagnosis of their laptop. No work was carried out and refund was given for the £14.50 when they decided to go somewhere else. This is totally false feedback and all lies, reported to eBay for removal. Wanted an idea of how much repair would cost without even looking at laptop so a ballpark of £125 was given. Didn't even bother bringing laptop for assessment to be able to give an accurate quote. Why lie? What does it achieve?

AAAAA+++++++ Job replacing an old deteriorated GPU chipset with a brand new one on existing board.
I was not sure if it would be money well risked to try and bring a 2011 macbook pro with a common failed GPU chipset problem back to life without getting into a new board. I watched how to videos of people trying to rework/reflow chips and read about many unsatisfied people who tried different companies with varying negative results and complaints. These Brickfence people have the right equipment, the right know how, the right materials to do the job and the right business attitude to have earned the excellent reputation they showed. I took a chance based on their reputation and gained back my working 2011 MB Pro and all of its Adobe Mastersuite graphics intensive software which now runs beautifully without a hitch. I am thankful and happy to have found a company I can recommend to ... First, let me say Apple did its consumers a disservice when they discontinued service or warranty repair on their late 2011 MacBook Pros with the faulty logic boards. 2.4 ghz 15” late 2011 MacBook Pro logic board with 1gb AMD 6770 discrete graphics. Second, this was a lifesaver. My MacBook has been sitting as a paperweight for months because I was trying to get Apple to do something, ANYTHING, about a faulty product that is clearly of their own doing. I finally broke down and bought this logic board and followed the instructions found by searching for ifixit MacBook Pro unibody late 2011 logic board replacement 7518 33 easy steps (no, really, it’s super easy, plus the reverse steps) to a working MacBook. This logic board came with the heat sink, subwoofer, and audio pieces connected ...
