First, the seller shipped this right away, followed-up when I asked about the delivery day, packaged it well with appropriate addressing, and the item was exactly as described. Thumbs up to the seller. USPS, on the other hand, received this at the origin facility by 8/8, sent it to a regional origin facility where it sat for a week, then back to the regional facility, then to another regional faciliy where it took one day to get it to me. Overall time was 11 days for shipping, which is excessive

    Jabra A7010

    This unit paired via bluetooth with my ComPilot1 which sends audio to my Phonak Solana Hearing Aids. I had some problems connecting it to my work phone, so I took it home and It works fine on my home telephone. The A7010 accepts the RJ10 which I took out of my home phone's handset and plugged in to the left phone jack of the A7010. To make a call I take the handset off the phone, and press the button on the A7010 and immediately I get a dial tone in my hearing aids. To answer a call I take the handset off and press the button, so I know the unit works great. My work phone, a Nortel T7613E has a more complicated configuration with buttons for mute, speaker, and headset. I'm sure it will work with my work phone when I have the patience and time to get it set up right.

    Excellent device with one design defect

    This thing is great; it allows me to use my office phone with a standard Bluetooth headset. The only problem with the design is that the interior plug for the power is flimsy, and when broken, is inaccessible. I tried and tried to get into the box to try to jerry-rig something to allow me to use the power adapter, but ultimately gave up and just bought another unit. The unit pairs easily, and is adjustable for volume and a clear signal. All the competing units I looked at were ridiculously expensive compared to the Jabra and didn't claim to do more. It's too bad Jabra quit making these.
