Item as described and works as expected. No, only issue here was that the first shipment attempt got lost in mainland China, at least that is the conclusion when checking shipment tracking.     Bang for the buck it's hard to beat ! This is not your father's Celeron.

    If you're objective is to build an everyday computer for Internet access, e-mail and still have the ability to run solitaire etc. in the background this CPU would be a good choice. Don't confuse this with the old Celerons. This is a true dual core CPU that runs Windows 7 very well. Many people do not do their homework before purchasing a CPU. If you take a look at Passmark Benchmark you will see that this rates a 1721. Believe it or not a Core 2 Duo E7200 running at 2.53 GHz scores a 1723. The two point difference is not even worth talking about. Why people pay such high prices for old core 2 duo processors I do not understand. It must just be the name. I will admit though the extra cache does have its advantages but you'll never see it on everyday use machine.

    Good low cost cpu.

    Very good processor for a low budget build. Good if you're rebuilding an old computer with newer parts.
