    A Fast Processor

    More than 80% of the programs and games are too simple to justify writing multi core usage into their programming, so for them a 4 core is a waste. Out of all of the CPU specifications, speed is the most important and this CPU has plenty of it. Intel (in this CPU) has given us speed, a great architecture, and 2 MB of L2 cache. Its a cool running processor, its 45nm construction makes it an excellent over clocker. I own a E8400 and this CPU, on most programs, runs just as fast. Within the last month, I have bought three E6700s for upgrades and my customers are very happy with my choice. I replaced an E2180, E2160, and an (old style) E6600. In all three, the E6700 was a very noticeable improvement.
