The seller said that he leaves out the disc box to save on postage expenses, which was fine with me as I have extra boxes, and postage is getting more and more expensive. This gives the seller the chance not to raise prices on the discs. He supplied the ordered disc and disc box cover so I put it together in one of my extra boxes and it looked great. That said, the package arrived quickly. I watched the movie and had absolutely no issues. Thank you.

Excellent Webseries / Movie and an excellent start for 343i
This is a perfect place for new Halo fans to start. 343 Industries did a wonderful job and raised high expectations for the coming game, Halo 4. This was first aired on Halo Waypoint and YouTube by Machinima Prime, for five weeks every Friday until a week before November 6 (Halo 4's release date). It cost almost $10 million to make and is Microsoft's largest investment in a live action series to date. Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn takes place in the Circinius IV system (which really exists) at a place called Corbulo Academy of Military Science, date: 2525-2526. During this time, Master Chief is 15 (born in 2511). The main character, Lasky is 14. JUST TO CLARIFY! So many people get this wrong! Master Chief WAS NOT MEANT TO SOUND LIKE HIMSELF IN THE GAMES! He's 15; NOT 40 (during Halo CE)! From the start, a veteran Halo fan could find little things that hinted at the lore of Halo and the coming trouble in the series. For instance, when Lasky saluted General Black, the CAMS AI was briefing him ("code red"). A couple of times you can hear this. There was also "Forward Unto Death" printed on a sign and the engraving above their beds clearly said "Forward Unto Dawn" multiple times. There was also a quote originally by Dr Halsey's mother when she taught Halsey to play Chess, "When the game is over, the pawn and the king are returned to the same box." Later, Lasky sets up a chess board and as soon as the Covenant attack the chess board is toppled. Little symbolic things like this are really what bring me into a series. Moving on, all the actors in the series were under a certain height to make Spartan 117 look taller. The guy that played Spartan 117 was actually only an inch smaller than the game Chief. I thought the props were wonderful, with a full sized working Warthog, armor, and weapons. I thought it was funny that Lasky commented on how hard the Warthogs are to drive! I was happy that Anne Popplewell (Narnia) starred as Chyler Silva. She was at least a familiar face. The man that acted Master Chief had played Iron Man at one point too. The others were unfamiliar faces to me though. There were only a couple of differences between the webseries and this movie. One being all of Cortana's rampant rants were placed at the beginning in one big clip. That was the only difference I could find. The music was excellent - like all things Halo related. Unfortunately 343i has yet to release it on CD, which does not make me happy! 343's incompetence aside *sarcasm*, the extra are almost worth the price alone. Ever heard of Red vs Blue? No?? Go watch it now!! It's on RoosterTeeth and YouTube. Anyways, there is an extra episode on here that is hilarious! Caboose being Caboose, Sarge being Sarge, and Grif being the lazy butt he is and paying for it! All acted by real people... :) Other extras that are included are Directors commentary, all of the lead-in "previews" to the series, and behind the scenes. All in all, it's a great buy and well worth the money for people who love Halo. A must have in any collection! Thank you for reading my review!

A movie for sci-fi/game/war fans!
Not just for Halo fans! This movie provides an excellent view of a young man's journey to adulthood in the harsh environment of a military academy. He has to deal with the shadow of his brother's legacy as well as an oncoming threat to humanity. Only with the help of his friends and a mysterious super soldier can he hope to survive.
