2003 325ci convertible
Parts fit great. Solved my issue. I can open and close manually without gears fallen. My old part had broken gears. Those stronger parts. If It's your first time doing this job, don't do it. It's not easy to put everything back the same way, needs skills. You could damage your fabric.

It worked, but not without its headaches....
The Kit worked out ok...BUT, It required some modifying. It was NOT an exact fit with regards to 2 very important screws. The sensor must be removed from your old piece, & transferred to the new kit. That was a headache! The slot for the sensor was wayyy too small, thus had to be modified a bit. Its not an exact fit, its Not plug n play kit. It requires some finessing... but, it saves you $500 for a new part.The Kit worked out ok...BUT, It required some modifying. It was NOT an exact fit with regards to 2 very important screws. If your top is stuck part way open buy this
I never leave a review but this part fixed the motor in my top. The top motor towards the top of the windshield is responsible for the last 8inches of closing. This product is awesome

Works great. Fixed my E46 convertible roof latch mechanism.
Gears are definitely an upgrade from plastic OE. Latches absolutely necessary after OE plastic breaks. Make sure you transfer the magnet out of the driver side latch to the new latch.

Had a problem taken care of.
The first set we received did not fit. Had to battle with co. to get them to send another set out. Second set fit fine so they must have a problem or bad packaging. Anyway they made it good on the second set and did not charge us. Thank you for being understanding.
