    8 pin plug/socket

    My application for these was to connect an antenna rotator to it's control box. They are my number one choice due to the ease of connecting the cable and they are the exact number of conductors (8) for this application.. Also due to the format they lend themselves to weather proofing fairly easy..

    Great plug , needs some kind of cinch holder to hold both plugs together.

    Great plugs, I have mine inline for a rotor and there needs to be some kind of screw holder to keep the plugs from pulling apart, have the male plug plugged into back of rotor control box and it will slip out easily if any pressure on plug at all, not the fault of the plug, but the two I have inline will pull apart easily, only cure is to tape it up with electical tape to keep from being pulled apart, not sure why manufacturer hasnt thought of this to start with, would be a big help if it had something to bind the male and female together.
