      Very Short Range !

      I had two of these Security KeyFOBs and one went bad so I replaced it with a new one. The range of the new one is only about 2 feet. The remaining old one works about 10 feet. The new one is a pain to use so its now only an emergency backup. Disappointing!

      X-10 remote

      Had my old for over 10 years and worked well, so wanted the same one to replace? A bit pricey, but other reviews say this is better than the new one plus it uses AAA batteries.
