    Historic Cinema at its best!

Incredible historic movie about the bombing of Pearl Harbor. It gives you an inside view from both the Japanese side as well as the US side. It does not sugar coat the mistakes and apathy shown by the American government and military leading up to the unprecedented attack.

  • A must have for every person who cares about history and what may repeat

If you do not understand how the US got dragged into WWII you MUST see this movie. What a great film this explaining the day at Pearl Harbor when everything changed. This explains things from both sides. Beautifully done from both the Japanese and American sides, you sit spellbound and uneasy from the word go, waiting for what you know will happen and cannot stop. It is amazing and awful at the same time but educational and upsetting. You cannot help but feel the emotion come flying off the screen right at you. If you come away from this film feeling the same, you didn't learn a thing. This is a must have for every person who ever wanted to know but was afraid to ask what the heck happened? Here are your answers. Watch and learn so it never happens again.

  • Very good Pearl Harbor movie

Using real events as references, "Tora! Tora! Tora!" is fairly realistically and tells the Japanese version of the bombing of Pearl Harbor. For it's day, it was outstanding photography. Very enjoyable to watch and then compare it to the historical records - you'll be very hard pressed to find discrepancies (differences of opinion, perhaps). This is a historically accurate movie. A definate "must-see" film and one that belongs in the library of a historian or militaria collector. Highly recommended. Note that this is the 2006 issue of the movie in a North American DVD format (with little noticeable digital remastering---although there is reportedly some). Please note that this review is written with no knowledge as to the seller's identity. It is a review of the movie only.

  • Tora! Tora! Tora!

Why did you decide to buy It?It happens to be the Classical Movie Picture for Pearl Harbor Buffs and those Who Collect Modern War Movies!I Remember seeing Tora! Tora! Tora! as an American Drive-In Movie as a Kid.This at Home Version Picture still has the Drive-In Intermission Portion Intact. It just happens to be a minor dislike-I rather have it removed anyways!Wars are never interrupped in real life. My Favorite War Scene happens to be Where the Japanese Ambassitor Stalls in his Meeting with Our State Department Head -Cordall Hall.Because the Declaration of War is still be typed on an Antique typewritter.

  • interesting title
