      Nice But No Cigar

      This is a product that a car guy would buy to add beauty and bling to a special vehicle. Unfortunately it comes with some major blemishes that mar the beauty. Items like this were originally made by car guys for car guys and it was done with pride. It's obvious that these are now made in China and are absent the pride factor. The polishing is nice on the surfaces that are easy to get to but they lack polish in the tougher corners so they look unfinished.

      Great "Heat Sink"

      This is a Heavy Duty oil filter cover, Nice thick cast Aluminum, Great for Heat Transfer {AKA"Heat Sink"}.I used this on my remote Transmission Filter, looks fantastic! [you can see through the grille] If you want to use this on your Engine Oil Filter, you'll need plenty of room, it's almost 3/8" thick by the "Clamping Area". All & All it's a fine product and a great price. MOTORHEAD~TY

      Wish it fit...

      I bought this to cover the oil filter which is mounted to the firewall of my 52 Plymouth, however, the diameter of the cover is too narrow to just bolt on. I'll have to get a smaller diameter filter to make it work. I assumed it would be large enough to accommodate the average size American filter, it's not...
