    DDR2 Comparison

    For a system that is running 32 bit this will help boost your overall operating range. This is old school yet it will serve the purpose. I enjoy using this on an early model Compaq computer.

    Nice speed increase for the price

    I just upgraded from a 2.2GHZ AMD Athlon 64 3500+ to the Athlon 64 X2 4600+ and man can I see the difference. I've been able to run my games now at medium or better settings depending on the game (not the lowest by any means). I have also noticed quite a decrease in loading times in applications as well as a decrease in the startup time to get into Windows 7. If you're making an upgrade though, be sure to update your bios if you're using the same motherboard to save some time from having to install and re-install the old CPU. If you're looking to build a system that runs at the minimum or better requirements for modern games this CPU will get the job done.

    NEW LIFE FOR YOUR OLD COMPUTER.

    MY HOME PC WAS NEW IN 2007. IT WAS NOT TOP OF THE HEAP,JUST AVERAGE. I STARTED RUNING HOME RESEARCH PROJECTS,AND THIS WAS PUTTING A STRAIN ON MY SYSTEM.I WANTED TO GET MORE COMPUTING,SO A MULTICORE CPU WAS THE ANSEWER. NEW WAS AROUND $188,WITHOUT A FAN.USED,WITH A FAN KIT ON EBAY, $43. WENT FROM 2.4GHZ,UP TO 4.8GHZ ON THE SAME MOBO! WORKS ON TWO PRODJECTS AT ONCE! BACK TO THE FUTURE!

    Fast, smooth operating CPU. You'll have to upgrade to a better cooler fan.

    It is definitly a big improvement from my Sempron LE Processor. Everything moves so smoothly and applications that takes 5 minutes to start up opens up in seconds. I love multi-core CPU's.

    Great value dual core processor.

    If you're looking for a good dual core processor for games and whatnot, this is it. Easy installation, and lighting fast speed. Very nice upgrade from my single core AMD Athlon 64 3500+ 2.2Ghz.
