Classic Story as on top of their game!!

There was a time when the Stones hit the stage. The act was compelling, the music was tight and everything was right. Ladies and Gentleman the Rolling Stone captures that time perfectly. With a great selection of music from the Stones most creative period. If you had to pick one, just one Stones concert video. This is the one to own. Mick Taylor who replaced Brian Jones shows why he was selected. He plays off Keith and they mesh. It is a wonder to watch. This is as close to the original Rolling Stones as you are going to get and it demonstrates why they were called the greatest rock and roll band in the world!

  • A Snapshot In Time!

This collection of concert footage is an excellent snapshot of the Stones while in their top form. Although it suffers from the technical limitations of the day, it does show the band in a "raw energy" mode. It's a lot like seeing the Stones in a Bar where the stage isn't well lit. It's a great piece of history, especially if you're a fan of Mick Taylor's excellent guitar playing. This concert is indicative of the fact that Kieth Richards may be one of the world's greatest rhythm guitar players & without a doubt a highly under rated groove master. Bill & Charlie are as tight a section as you could wish for and Mick is as always, his own classic performer. A couple of downsides. (1) We don't get much of the horn section or keyboard player ...

  • a classic must-have

I have been a Rolling Stones fan since I can remember, and one of the first bands I was intriqued by in the early seventie's, when I was a mere five year old. The first time viewing this live concert movie, I thought that, because of all the hype about the Stones being rather sloppy during the time period, I thought that there were some missed cues, some verse's that were not done correctly. But still, what stood out were some of their more countryfied tunes - Dead Flowers, Tumbling Dice, and SWeet Virginia. The second time I watched this concert movie, I became as intriuged as I had way, way back. So I decided to take it over to my fellow musician's house and watch it again. Now it all kicked in: They were "tight", and that is just a very short way of ...

  • The all time best concert movie from the all time best Rock n Roll band

This is a historic concert movie like Woodstock, but even better because it is the worlds greatest rock n roll band at their very best, with the raw rocking guitars sounds of Richards, and Taylor.Cool Bill Wyman in the background strumming the beat with his bass as Charlie Watts beats the drumms to a howling voice of the slickest most exciting front man in any band Mick Jagger. I use to go see this every chance that I would get, usually at the Midnight Cinemaback in the 70's to party in the theater and watch this concert movie. Now I finally own it. Along with The Song Remains The Same this is my all time favorite concert movie that I can just listen to the music without watching it, and fade deeply into the tunes that still to this date hipnotize me as they did then some thirty years ...

  • I am getting more live concert of the greatest rock & roll band in history.

    Great live concert!
