    I DECIDED TO BY THE BOOK AS THE AUTHOR LIVES IN DES MOINES, WA. WHICH IS ONLY ABOUT 2 MILES FROM WHERE I LIVE... A LOT OF HER WRITINGS ARE ABOUT THINGS I HAVE HEARD ABOUT ON THE NEWS.. THE OTHER REASON IS ONE OF THE GREEN RIVER VICTIMS IS A RELATIVE OF MY GIRL FRIEND.. AS THIS CRIME WAS SO HORRIBLE AND UNSOLVED FOR YEARS AND BEING SO PERSONALLY INVOLVED WITH THE RELATIVES OF ONE OF THE VICTIMS,,.I KNEW A LOT OF INFORMATION ABOUT THIS CASE BUT IT GAVE ME A LOT OF INFORMATION ABOUT OTHERS WHO WERE SO UNFORTUNATELY INVOLVED IN THIS HORRIBLE CRIME...I KNOW THE HORROR AND NIGHTMARE IT HAS BEEN TO THE FAMILY I KNOW PERSONALLY BUT IT MADE MY HEART GO OUT TO THE OTHER VICTIMS AND THEIR FAMILIES...

    Another excellent true crime novel by Ann Rule

    I started reading Ann Rule's books when I saw her on a TV show. She is an excellent writer and this book takes place very near where she lives and has lived for may years - the Pacific Northwest. The killer is not caught for so many years because he is such an ordinary man. When he was caught nobody that knew him could believe it. It was only because of modern technology, DNA evidence - that a very thorough police officer decided to take at one of the first crimes, that this criminal was brought to justice.
