Great solution for additional storage
This product is a great solution for additional storage. I set it up on my own (I am a 64 year old female) which goes to show how easy it is to unpackage and get it up. The material is durable. In fact this is the second one that we bought. The ventilation flap is great and keeps condensation from forming which is important when you live in Florida. The zippers are heavy duty. Both my husband and I are quite happy with this solution to our storage needs.This product is a great solution for additional storage. Tent works exceptionally well at protecting our full-size touring bikes! Great value!
We have two full-size touring bikes with racks and fenders that we are storing in this tent with the bikes facing opposite ways. We use it with a Racor 2-bike floor bike stand that seems designed for this tent. The tent works great at keeping our bikes out of the sun and the rain. While I don't care for the shiny material it works exceedingly well. Our only wish is that the opening of the tent were a couple of inches wider. When we're putting the bikes into the tent we must work the tent's door opening around the wheels of the bikes and its fenders, this is a small hassle. I consider this tent as wonderful and a bargain! Hardy storage Tent that is well-made
I have four of these YardStash storage tents (YSSTs) already. I got another one because one of the YSSTs has shown signs of ultra-violet ray damage due to the sun. I've had it for 4 yrs now, and I learned last year that UV light from the sun can be damaging, and that one should get a tarp to put over the roof to shield it from UV damage. I got tarps from Harbor Freight at a reasonable price. And all my YSSTs have tarps over them now. I like the YSSTs, bc they are hardy and can put up with snow, rain, hail, ice well. For the sun,however, one needs to put a tarp over it, otherwise the roof starts to become brittle over time and tear. I'm still able to use the one YSST that has been damaged by the UV light -- I used Gorilla tape to bind and cover up the tear.I have four of these YardStash storage tents (YSSTs) already. Compact, sturdy, easy to set up, can be a tight squeeze for larger bikes/tires. 4/5 stars - if zipper extended full length i'd give it 5 (not an issue for most bikes).
