A book that does not look new and has been read but is in excellent condition. No obvious damage to the cover, with the dust jacket (if applicable) included for hard covers. No missing or damaged pages, no creases or tears, and no underlining/highlighting of text or writing in the margins. May be very minimal identifying marks on the inside cover. The seller was more than willing, without me even asking for it, to make that up to me by refunding to me fully for both the comics I bought from him (one of which was in excellent condition) including the postage. The comic was not listed as "adequate" (i.e. 'acceptable). The seller notes asked buyers to ignore eBay's grading system and use the grade given in the listing title. It also asked buyers to allow potential deviation from the advertised grade and for the buyer to examine the photos in full. The advertised grade of the comic is as described - a VG+ does allow for that small tear.
