You're basically getting a brand new MacBook. What I received was a SEALED Apple Certified Refurbished Macbook Air, which is basically Apple itself giving a previously owned Macbook a new shell and a new battery. That, itself, is worth over $1000 on Apple's website, whereas here I picked it up for under $800. On top of that, Amazon's 256 GB model will cost you around the same with tax, but you're getting way more here than there. Absolutely amazing deal.
