Need for Speed: Carbon -- Collector's Edition is ready to take you to the heart of underground racing. Set in the outskirts of the city, you begin by declaring a class allegiance, picking your crew, and finally, deciding which of the 50 tunable cars you want to make your own. Select a tuner, American muscle, or exotic car, and then begin your ride to the top. You may also use the "Autosculpt" feature to create a completely customized car if no existing car suits your needs. Selecting your crew is important because each member has a special skill that can help you make it to the finish line first. For example, a scout can find hidden short cuts, and a blocker can create a distraction. <br><br>Despite being forced by police to race in Carbon Canyon, the rivalry is just as fierce and the stakes are at an all-time high. The game features four areas of urban and rural pavement, and each environment is broken into sub-zones of drift, street, and duel racing for a total of 80 tracks. As you begin winning races, you will also earn territory within the city. Start losing races, and the territory is given back to the rival crew. To completely take over another group's turf, you must defeat their boss in a race. Multiplayer action is available through the Internet for gang, one-on-one, and canyon battles. The Collector's Edition features such bonus items as three cars, ten specially tuned cars, six races, ten vinyl kits, and a DVD containing behind-the-scenes footage on the making of Need for Speed: Carbon along with original content.

It wasn't made clear in the description what kind of cord comes with the console. I assumed it would be a power cord but it was an HDMI cable instead. You can sort of tell from the pic but a better desciption would help. I was able to buy a power cord locally for $9 so no big deal. Good price for everything, would buy from matthewsmerc again.

The product I received was far worse cosmetically than anything pictured or described. Unfortunately since your item for sale stated that "NO Returns" are accepted, I'll be cleaning and detailing these headphones far more than what I believe I paid for.

Hours of fun!
This game is just as much fun as NFS:MW, maybe even more. The cars are better and the bonus DVD is worth the extra money. Overall, you will have a hard time putting this game away because the storyline and challenges are very addicting.

Great Racing Game
This is another one of those Electronic Arts Need for Speed Releases. This game has nice story, the videos in there are excellent quality. The only thing is that the graphics are not as good as expected. It is actually less graphic then the previous release. The cars in there are nice and hooked up. Races and handling are great. Great Game, Recommended!

Great Fun for Adults - No Nudity or Blood
I bought this for my 50 yr old husband for Christmas and he can't stay away from it. He is HOOKED. The Canyon driving is a real challenge. The game is difficult to beat as the booklet doesn't tell you how to win each level. I had to go find Cheat Codes on the internet to figure out what to do in the Career level. Having the NOS is pretty cool and as an ex-con, he loves evading the police, being able to hide from them, and droping things on them. I think the game could be more challenging if the cops were a bit more aggressive. Even when 4 ciops surround you, there is a way out - - not realistic. It would be cool if the driver could get out and run away. We really like the fact that there is no nudity or blood. I bought this game because I like the need for speed games. I found it to be very short if you just play it through. I found the reward cards and challenge series to be a waste of time. I thought the storyline was weak. The graphics were good and I liked the addition of muscle cars. There were no hard races in the carreer mode. My friend told me this game was great and even after a week he said it wasnt a great game. If you are thinking of buying this game find a way to play it first to find out if you will really enjoy the game as it was a huge disappointment to me.
