  • Grab This Outstanding Disc While You Can!!!

    I originally bought this disc because I was missing two of the three symphonies featured on the CD. Immediately upon hearing the first part of Symphony No. 25, one is aware that this music could have been written by nobody else. Even though all three symphonies were produced when Amadeus was in his teens, they unmistakably have his style and inimitable talent throughout them. Mozart was obviously born a genius. He didn't develop into one. The selections are superb, as is all Mozart music. The symphonies are performed by the Prague Chamber Orchestra with Sir Charles Mackerras conducting. Both the orchestra and the director do Mozart great justice in their interpretation. All of Mackerras' work which I have had the privilege of hearing has been excellently presented, and ...
