    Easy to operate with great features

    Before the internet caused many international broadcasters to end their shortwave programs I spent many enjoyable hours with a DX-390. Pros were the external antenna port, programmable timer which allowed me to plug in my cassette recorder and record on a set frequency at a specific time without being there to turn everything on myself, precise tuning, well laid out front panel, ease of operating. I can think of no cons.

    Best Radio Shack radio.

    Been using one of these for 25 years. Buttons and controls are smooth operating and never wear out, even with constant commercial killing and station switching.
