    Compares with Western Electric 310A Tube

    I tried many Russian Tube for audio purposes over the years with mixed results. Most are adequate but do not compare to the Western NOS tubes. The 1960's era 10J12s is an exception to the rule, I would say it's an equivalent and perhaps excels in comparison to the Western Electric 310A tubes in a Pentode Driver application. The sound is more open with a larger soundstage and the price is right.
