The book was advertised as "Like New". This is not the case. The book has stains on the front and top edges, writing on the inside (see pictures), and it smells terrible (musty). I did not bother contacting the seller because it is not worth sending back by the time I pay for shipping. The book did arrive very fast and it was packaged well.

    It works!

    In a nutshell, this cable does what it suppose to do. RS-232 ports were replaced with USB ports. If you have vintage equipment needing an RS-232 port, then this cable will do the trick. It allow your updated computer to communicate with RS-232 ports/equipment. Window 10 will recognize the connection however with most equipment you might need Win 10 drivers to run under current Operating System. Cheers

    Great for Cisco console cable.

    Got a console cable (serial) and needed a USB to serial for connecting to an old Cisco 3560 compact switch. First, I tested with Windows10. I was pleasantly surprised that I didn't need to install any driver at all. It just works. I then tried it on Ubuntu, again, it works fine with minicom. If you have similar setup, I'd recommend this.
