Rushmore is superfluous
This picture is disengaged in plot and character development. It is a senseless sequence of events and lacks in dialogue and content. A 4 year old could tell a better story. Perhaps director Anderson has "a following" but I definitely won't be one of them. He could brush up on his knowledge by reading Shakespeare, for starters.

Wonderful Wit and Humor.
This is a classic Wes Anderson film, the one that made me a die hard Wes Anderson fan forever. If you love movies with charming and amusing characters, along with entertaining and thoughtful plots, you should absolutely check this one out.

My review will likely not be popular with many fans of this film. I had heard about it for years as a quirky cult film. I decided to finely watch it and was left wondering what the big deal was. OK, I can see why some people do love it as it was definitely off center and unique. I would have to say it was just not my cup of tea. Mostly I found it slow and uninteresting.
