    Still a Great Camera

A little old and only 10MP...but has a super wide angle to telephoto and a viewfinder...how are you going to compose a decent picture in full sunlight on a LCD screen?... a great size for travel...and, takes great pictures!....

  • Kodak Z1015 IS

I bought this camera for my wife as an upgrade to the 5mp unit. I originally looked at the top of the line Z980, but due to few reviews, I felt that this camera was a safer bet. I was very happy at the ease at which it takes photos and the quality is good for what she uses it for. I would definitely recommend this model to anyone looking for a good all around camera with flexibility. Haven't had time to push it through it's paces as the weather is horrible here right now. Only disappointment to this point is the battery pack which essentialy is 2 AA batteries in a proprietary case and charges via USB charger that plugs into the wall. I don't have a feel yet for the battery life, but I would recommend at least 1 if not 2 extra battery packs for this camera if you intend on using it on a ...

  • I've had an easyer kodak!!!

I Love Kodak for on the go type of camera!!! I've owed a Z670, Z810, and now a Z1015 It's still stupid proof, yet a little more complicatied!!! I know what i need to do if i want the camera to be in a different setting. Its just too much hassle switching the settings for a specific picture. I know i can just use Auto, but sometimes i have to change the setting to get an excellent picture. Other than that its just as good as my other cameras. Let me just say that with the Z810 it was a click and go camera and all my pictures came out excellent. Im just an amature not a pro. ive only owned it for a month maybe i need to give it some more time to adjust..

  • Not as Great as I had Hoped

I bought this camera because the flash on my Z612 was acting up and I was heading out on an extended pverseas vacation and wanted something reliable. In addition, this seemed to be the "next gen" of the Z612 (which I love). I found the Z1015 to be too big, too clunky and too slow. Too Slow: The pictures look OK, but it was really a pain to use, and after the ease and speed of the Z612, I was really disappointed. It takes a long time to actually take a picture, meaning that I lost a lot of great shots. Also, with daily vacation photo taking, I had to recharge the battery every second day - the Z612 lasts me at least a week and a half (with vacation use) before recharging. Too Clunky: The setting dial would shift occasionally (usually after I stuffed it in a jacket pocket while ...

  • Kodak Z1015 IS: overall good choice

This is a newer model of a camera I had previously had and loved. It is a good camera, but I prefer the previous model. The features are much the same between both, as are the buttons. Although the newer model is supposed to have the same number of pixels, the screen resolution doesn't seem to be quite as good. The quality of the pictures doesn't seem quite as high, either. All in all, though, I would still recommend this model.
