light weight, secure, easy to use.
Love these axle rods, replacement for standard QR skewers. Extremely light weight, somewhat theft resistant as require a small hex wrench to release, and very secure. I have had one set on a bike for several years and never had a problem. Another bike began having problems with the rear wheel slipping and the tire rubbing when pedaling hard even with tightening the QR as hard as possible. Bought these axlerods, put on the bike, problem solved. Only downside is you have to carry a hex wrench when riding in case of a flat. I just slip one permanently in my tire patch kit, problem solved. Plus, they look great on the bike.Love these axle rods, replacement for standard QR skewers. Skewers are great
Quick release skewers are more expensive and lame, these are clean and easy. Easy to properly tighten and work well with carbon. They help deter wheel theft and if you carry spares it's just a tiny 5mm Allen more to bring... which I bring for fitting anyways.
