    Fun!

    I love how Shelley Long and Bette Midler interact in this. Gossip from behind the scenes say they did not get along, but that must have added to the relationship between Long's prim and proper character and the street smarts of Midler's character. Formulaic for sure and cliché riddled, it's still a load of fun!

    One of my favorite Fun Films...On par with the top.....

    This is an old film with an enduring message about friendship, personal differences and courage. It is also primarily a hysterically funny comedy, showing the best talents of two superb actors. It stands the test of time and is as funny and meaningful as it was all those years ago when it was first made. It is a delight to watch and to share with a new generation of film watchers. Special credit goes to the extended cameo appearance of the late, great comedian George Carlin. The story is engaging and the writing excellent. It is one of the top, perhaps underrated films of my generation.

    It's as "Outrageous" as its title, a classic.

    It's a hilarious movie with language too strong for TV (I've seen it and it lost most of its "zing"). I'd actually forgotten just how funny it is and am glad to own a copy.

    One of my favorite movies of all time!

    I bought this DVD because I had see this movie years ago and thought it was one of the funniest movies I had ever seen! I love Bette Midler and Shelly Long was basically new at that time. They are awesome together. There isn't anything I don't like about this movie. Its funny and things happen one after the other. Not to mention that George Carlin is in the movie too. Its just good for a laugh and mindless entertainment. Not for young kids, but older teenagers might like it.

    Funny funny movie

    Have always liked this movie. Long and Midler are great together. It is an entertaining movie but it does have some risque scenes and bad language. Still it is a funny movie.
