Low Financial Risk - More Than Adequate Performance - so EXPERIMENT!
The description leaves out the odd overlap between the front- and back-facing images when they are stitched (and there can be slight offset or rotation). Stitching is accomplished using software you must download from the Web. A spherical view can only be seen using appropriate viewing software (or post to facebook), and only after stitching. The video is not super high quality. This superbly low-cost spherical camera is a meat-and-potatoes solution that gets the job done. Don't expect forensics quality images or video. Mine gets used during hikes, using a 3D printed mount with an electronic 3-axis gimbal. It smooths out the experience but motion causes distortion. The Blackfin's great price permits experimentation with low cost risk. Broke one? You're not out a hundred ... I should have used more fishing line, I should have cast a weight to lower down and attach the camera, and I should NOT have THWACKed it right into a huge tree limb. Yes, there's video. The waterproof case got scuffed but the camera is a trooper! It turned off and the microSD card came free, but the thing powered back up. Donate your 3D goggles to charity or give them to someone who wants one. Unless you want to use them.

Good camera; lacks features
Does the job - takes decent 360 photos and videos on micro SD, but missing some features of newer cameras; it's not very easy for example to immediately share or upload things to the internet. Good waterproof case and tripod. Cannot be used as usb webcam and does not have hdmi output. VR headset is worse than a google cardboard.

You get what you pay for.
It records video fine. A cheap way to enter into Panoramic/VR video. My main problem is that it will NOT pair with my phone. I've tried many different methods for hours. Also the default recording files are .MOV which need to be converted to mp4 sometimes. It is very difficult and hassle-ful to set-up. NOT USER-FRIENDLY. I actually had to use an OTG cable with my Android phone to move the recordings on to my phone to view. You could also swap the Micro-SD card if your phone has one. You can also link camera to PC and upload files from your PC to a cloud and download on to phone... See? Yeah. Overall it's a cool little device. Camera quality is what you'd expect for $30. It’s decent
We’ll go pro isn’t much better but maybe one star and to say life like not even close. One thing s black fin has a cooler name and look but still has its downs such as the app is no longer valid but there’s another one that works now and is decent another thing is you can only go 32gb sdcard hs card so I guess that’s ok. In all I wish the makers would make a newer cleaner something flat as in 1” x 4” and 760• I haven’t got to use it yet. This Friday I’ll be taking it out Kayak fishing in LaJolla.We’ll go pro isn’t much better but maybe one star and to say life like not even close.
