Great movie, if you a lover, of 70's style horror films.
I purchased this DVD, because, as a little girl, this was one of the horror/scary (spooky) movies that I have enjoyed. I like the storyline (Jessica, newly released from mental institution, begins to see things,and starts to wonder if she's going crazy again)about vampires, and zombies, and although the movie is a little bit "dated"....it still puts a little bit of a "scare" into me. To me, modern day "horror films" are mostly blood, guts, and gore.... easy to shock, but not scary enough for me. I'll take a good scare to my imagination any day, over the new breed of slasher film.....anyday!I purchased this DVD, because, as a little girl, this was one of the horror/scary (spooky) movies that I have enjoyed. For its time, VERY SPOOKY !!!!
This movie scared the crap outta me as a child (6) in 1971. If my parents new I watched it in the basement, I'm sure they would of stopped it! Still spooky to this day, compares to A Rod Serling's Type.. NIGHT GALLERY movie! I had nightmares for weeks....my bedroom being in the basement didnt help... It compares to another cult film (DON'T BE AFRAID OF THE DARK) circa 1973. If your name is Jessica and you live alone in the country CALL a friend before you watch...seriously !!!!This movie scared the crap outta me as a child (6) in 1971.
