Corner of the album was dented. There was no damage to the packaging and the damage was not disclosed in the listing. Seller used stock photos, there were no pictures of the item that I would receive.

  • Best sounding HUM record yet

HUM managed a rare feat by picking up right where they left off with their last record 23 years prior. The quality of this pressing is outstanding, as well. Many new LPs have mild to moderate quality issues, but this is one of the finest pressings I’ve seen all year. The mastering sounds phenomenal. The soundstage has great depth and detail. My disks arrived free of any pitting, warping, or dishing. If you like the band, or others like Failure or My Bloody Valentine, this LP is highly recommended.

  • Hummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

I have to respectfully disagree with this other guy here. I have listened to this album a bunch and I must say it really has grown on me. At first listen, I wasn’t sure what I thought and maybe even was uncomfortable with the sounds I was hearing in contrast to my original impression of the band in the 90’s. I’ve been a fan ever since I heard “Stars” on the radio. And this album is different than that, but I also really like it. A band is bound to evolve in 20 plus years and I think this album sits nicely with modern music. The evolution is perhaps drawn toward a drone stoner metal - whatever the kids are calling it... “the Summoning” - holy lord - I bet it rips hard live. Have an open mind that this is the same band in a different place and time and an evolution of their music ...

  • Hum's days are over

I'm a HUGE fan of HUM, I have been for well over 20yrs. Every album before tjis one is an absolute masterpiece, with some of the greatest song lyrics of all time. However, they have completely lost it on this new album. The instrumentals sounds like they forgot how to play. The lyrics are quite and muddy. Most of all the sound production on this one is absolutely unbearable. Again, I'm a huge fan, but I couldn't even finish listening to this album. I listened to 3/4 of it, stopped it, repackaged it and resold it to another poor sap. I highly recommend every HUM album previous to this one, but this album isn't worth it, even if you get it for free. Sound quality is horrible!!
